Yellow Metal Little Changed On Global Cues

Gold futures were little changed during afternoon trade in the domestic market on Monday as investors and speculators exited their positions in the precious metal as investors waiting for greater clarity on US President Donald Trump's economic policy.

Investors keenly awaited the Trump’s policy speech to a joint session of Congress on Tuesday night where he is expected to provide clues on his plans to cut taxes.

At the MCX, gold futures for April 2017 contract is trading at Rs 29600 per 10 grams, down by 0.08 per cent, after opening at Rs 29587, against a previous close of Rs 29623. It touched the intra-day low of Rs 29584 .
