Crude Oil Little Changed Ahead Of US Independence Day Holiday

Crude oil futures were little changed during afternoon trade in the domestic market on Tuesday as investors and speculators remained on the sidelines in the energy commodity as many traders closed positions ahead of the US Independence Day holiday today.

Besides, doubts over whether OPEC and other producers’ will be able to cut output, too influenced crude oil prices at futures trade.

At the MCX, crude oil futures for July 2017 contract is trading at Rs 3042 per barrel, down by 0.03 per cent, after opening at Rs 3039, against a previous close of Rs 3043. It touched the intra-day low of Rs 3036.
